👻 OPTION 1: PHANTOM WALLET

Best for beginners. Your wallet and your SOL in one app.

  1. Download Phantom from phantom.com, the App Store or Google Play. Only use the official site.
  2. Tap Create a new wallet. Write your 12-word recovery phrase on paper and keep it safe. Never type it into any website.
  3. Search Solana in the app, tap Buy, and pick an amount.
  4. Pay with what's offered in your country, like a debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. Phantom uses partners such as MoonPay and Stripe.
  5. Review the fees and tap Confirm. Your SOL shows up in your wallet.

🏦 OPTION 2: AN EXCHANGE

Use BloFin, Coinbase, Kraken, Binance or any exchange available where you live.

  1. Sign up on the exchange and finish ID verification (photo ID and a selfie).
  2. Deposit money or buy crypto with your card, then buy SOL (Solana).
  3. Open Phantom, tap Receive > Solana, and copy your wallet address.
  4. On the exchange, go to Withdraw > SOL. Paste your Phantom address and choose the Solana network.
  5. Send a small test amount first. Once it arrives, send the rest.
Important: always pick the Solana (SOL) network when withdrawing. The wrong network can lose your funds. Exchanges are not available in every country, so check yours.

🌙 OPTION 3: MOONSHOT APP

A phone app for buying meme coins with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  1. Download Moonshot from the App Store or Google Play and sign up.
  2. Add money with your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  3. Search CHAOS or paste the contract address and tap Buy.
Heads up: Moonshot mostly lists coins that are already popular, so a brand-new coin may not show up there yet. If you can't find $CHAOS, use Phantom instead. Moonshot fees are higher than a direct swap.

⚡ BUY $CHAOS WITH YOUR SOL

Once you have SOL in Phantom, pick one:

  1. In Phantom: tap Swap, choose SOL to sell, paste the $CHAOS contract address as the coin to buy, enter an amount and confirm.
  2. On pump.fun: go to pump.fun, connect Phantom, paste the contract address in search, enter how much SOL to spend and tap Buy.
  3. On GMGN: go to gmgn.ai, connect your wallet, paste the contract address, and buy.
